Yes. Users can paste a public page URL including homepages using the Analyze URL feature. The tool pulls readable text and scores it, but login walls, PDFs, and apps will not work.
How accurate is AI detection?
DetectGPT provides a usable signal but is a weak judge. Short text, formulaic academic prose, and second-language writing produce more false alarms. Different detectors also disagree with each other.
What is the similarity score in the plagiarism checker?
The similarity score is the overlap percentage showing how much of the pasted draft matched public pages, with phrases and source links listed. It reflects web overlap rather than proof of copying, as cited facts and common lines can score high.
