The story so far
Homepage of Accessia
Accessia is an accessibility audit platform that tests web pages, PDFs, images, HTML code and Figma prototypes against RGAA 4.1.2 and WCAG 2.1/2.2 standards. It identifies accessibility issues with exact code locations, provides ready-to-apply fixes and generates official compliance documents including accessibility statements and multi-year roadmaps.
The platform offers three ways to audit: a web application for public sites, a Chrome extension for authenticated or connected pages, and a Figma plugin for design mockups. For developers, an MCP (Model Context Protocol) server integrates accessibility testing into code editors like Claude Code, Cursor and VS Code.
Accessia's paid tiers add real contrast measurement (pages rendered in an actual browser), site-wide auditing with statistical sampling, automatic progress tracking and AI features including expert reviews, custom fixes, user journey testing and compliance reports. A free tier allows five audits monthly with access to the complete RGAA criteria grid, calculated conformity rate and prioritized fixes.

The package is free. An audit launched from the editor is counted like in the application: free monthly audits, then 1 credit per page. Reading a criterion, reviewing a report and re-testing a fix cost nothing (re-tests limited to 100 per day).
Is my code sent to Accessia?
Yes, only what the assistant asks to audit or re-test: the page code (or fragment) and the proposed fix. The audit becomes a report stored in your account, like an audit launched in the application. Nothing is sent until the assistant calls an Accessia tool.
Can local pages (localhost) be audited?
Yes: the MCP server reads the page on your computer and sends its code to Accessia. It is the code as the development server returns it, before script execution: the structure is analyzed, but not the actual contrast, focus or display. For these points, use the Chrome extension in your browser.
Does a 'verified' fix make the page compliant?
No. 'Verified' means that Accessia's automatic checks no longer detect the defect on this code without creating another. The relevance of text (an image alternative, a link title) remains to be judged by a person, and part of the RGAA criteria can only be verified manually.
