SkillKeeper is a usage monitor for AI coding agents available as a macOS menu bar app and a Claude Code mod for Windows, Linux and Mac. It reads local session logs and breaks down usage by skill, agent, tool, MCP server, command, memory file, hook and plugin, showing how often each runs and how many tokens it costs.
The app displays token usage over 5-hour, daily, weekly or monthly periods. It works with Claude Code, Codex CLI, Gemini CLI and Cursor, tracking different metrics depending on the platform. Users can pause and switch between skills, search and install skills from skills.sh, edit triggers and descriptions in place, and receive alerts when sessions get expensive or skills have updates.
Everything is processed locally on the user's computer and never uploaded. There is no subscription or account required. The free version includes the last week of history permanently; the 3-day trial gives access to all features, after which a $19 license unlocks 5-hour, 24-hour and month history plus editing and other advanced actions.
Pricing model: Freemium
Free: full access for 3 days, then last week stays free forever. Paid: $19 one-time license (30% off until Oct 29, discounted to $13.30), includes every update and covers both Mac app and Claude Code mod on up to 2 Macs.

No. SkillKeeper never sees your skills or their contents. Only anonymous usage analytics are collected to improve the app.
No. SkillKeeper reads transcripts only to determine which skill fired and when. Anything else, including pasted keys, is discarded as the file is read and never leaves your Mac.
