SHIP is an agentic engineering platform where AI coding agents plan, build, review and test software changes, delivering pull requests with proof of quality
The story so far
Homepage of SHIP
SHIP is an agentic engineering platform that automates software development by assigning coding issues to a team of specialized AI agents. A Planner reads tickets and creates implementation specs, a Builder writes code and runs CI checks, a Reviewer validates changes against the plan, and a Tester runs acceptance criteria on a live deployment. Each mission reports its outcome, cycle time, and exact cost.
The platform integrates with existing tools like Linear, GitHub Issues and Jira, and supports multiple coding agents and models from providers including Anthropic, OpenAI, and Z.ai. Teams can configure different agents and models per role to optimize cost and quality. SHIP keeps inference on your own provider contracts with a zero-trust security model where credentials are encrypted and never enter the sandbox.
Credits pay for agent work (one credit covers up to three agent-hours). Failed missions or those requiring attention before producing a pull request get credits refunded. The platform offers free trials, prepaid credit packs that never expire, and monthly Starter and Scale plans with rollover credits.

SHIP is an agentic engineering platform that takes each assigned issue to a pull request with proof it works. A Planner, Builder, Reviewer and Tester plan the change, write the code, run CI, review it and test it. Each mission reports its outcome and cost.
Does a failed mission use credits?
SHIP returns credits if a mission fails or needs attention before it produces a pull request. Once a mission opens a pull request its credits stand, and a mission you stop yourself keeps its charge.
Which coding agents and models can SHIP run?
SHIP supports Claude Code, Codex, Pi, OpenCode and Kilo Code as agent harnesses, with models from Anthropic, OpenAI, Z.ai or every model available through OpenRouter. You can set a different agent and model for each role in ship.yml or override for a single mission.
Does SHIP keep a copy of my code?
SHIP does not keep a copy of your repository. Session logs, which can include code snippets the agents read and changed, are kept for 1 year and deleted sooner on request.
Is SHIP related to SHIP.com or Easyship?
No. SHIP at letsship.ai is a software engineering platform. SHIP.com and Easyship are separate companies for logistics.
