The story so far
y is a Mac coding agent app that lets you run Claude Code and Codex sessions in parallel, each in its own isolated workspace with real tool calls and code execution. The app includes a Modify feature where you can describe changes in natural language—such as "change the ui to white and add a browser to the app"—and watch the app rewrite itself live without restart or config file changes. Built as free and open source software, y is designed to be reshaped and customized by developers.
