Captures memories from Claude Code, Codex and Cursor coding sessions and syncs them across all your machines for searchable access.
The story so far
Homepage of memsync
memsync captures what each coding session learned from Claude Code, Codex and Cursor, keeps one store, and gives every machine and your phone one search over all of it. The agent reads the transcript, keeps the summary and observations, and syncs them every 15 minutes using content identity so the same memory from two machines lands once. Search is available in every session over MCP tools, from any browser, and from the iPhone app. Memories live in your own database file, not shared with other customers, and are not end-to-end encrypted but stored for service operation only. When a subscription ends, your memories are kept for 30 days so you can export them.

Day 3 since launch. Next receipt: day 30, 30 Nov 2026. These are measurements, not proof of cause: many things move these numbers. Figures we have not measured are left out.
An agent on each machine reads the transcript when a session ends, keeps the summary and observations, and uses content identity to push them to a central store. The system syncs every 15 minutes on a timer, ensuring the same memory from different machines lands only once. Other machines pull these memories and every session has access via MCP tools.
Are memories end-to-end encrypted?
No. Memories are stored so the service can read them and are not end-to-end encrypted. Each account gets its own isolated database file for security and privacy.
What happens to my memories when I cancel my subscription?
When a subscription ends, syncing stops and your memories are kept for 30 days so you can export them. You can export everything as one SQLite file anytime from Settings, and a deletion is permanent.
Which code editors and IDEs does memsync capture from?
memsync captures memories from Claude Code, Codex and Cursor. The agent captures what each session learned on Mac and Linux when a session ends.
Can I use memsync for free?
Yes. The Mac app is free on one machine with no account required. To sync across every machine you need a subscription at $15 per month with a 14 day free trial. The iPhone app costs $7.99 once.
