Skillsync searches all your AI coding sessions instantly and surfaces relevant past work to your agents, eliminating repetition without setup.
The story so far
Homepage of Skillsync
Skillsync is a search tool that indexes all your AI coding sessions across Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, and other agents on your Mac. When you start a new prompt, it automatically searches your entire history, identifies relevant past work, and delivers context as a recollection within the same prompt—all without indexing or setup.
The product works locally by default, reading sessions already kept by your agents and processing everything on your Mac. Nothing is uploaded unless you choose to share. You can press a hotkey from any application to search across all sessions and jump into previous conversations or copy specific parts.
For teams, Skillsync offers shared workspaces where members can search each other's shared sessions like their own, create a unified skill library, and keep content private until explicitly shared. It also provides a CLI tool for Linux, Windows, and remote servers.

Open source (free forever with MCP search, session movement, and open source access); Pro ($20 per seat/month billed monthly or $200 per year with 5-day free trial); Team (custom pricing agreed on a call).
When you type a prompt into your coding agent, Skillsync checks your entire session history to identify matches. If past work is relevant, it returns as a recollection with sources within 1 second, and stays out of the way if nothing applies.
Is my data private?
Yes. Sessions are read and indexed on your Mac and never uploaded unless you explicitly share them. Everything is private until you choose to share it.
Does Skillsync work with all AI coding agents?
Skillsync installs plugins for Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, OpenCode, Amp, pi, Grok, Antigravity, and Hermes, and reads the sessions those agents already keep without additional configuration.
Can teams use Skillsync?
Yes. Teams can create a workspace where members search each other's shared sessions like their own, maintain a unified skill library, and share content selectively. Everything stays private until explicitly shared.
