The free edition of Page Builder Sandwich is complete in itself and has no time limit. It covers layout, content and marketing blocks, Sandwich Studio, website kits, the accessibility checker and per-page CSS. Upgrading is optional, and only when a site outgrows it.
Page Builder Sandwich is a WordPress page builder whose pages are stored as ordinary WordPress blocks instead of shortcodes or a private format. WordPress, your theme and your SEO plugin can therefore keep reading them, whatever you install later. Work in the standard block editor, or use Sandwich Studio, a full-screen visual editor with a layers panel, undo history, a command palette and keyboard shortcuts.
A page loads just the styles for its own blocks, taken from your own uploads folder, with neutral class names and no generator tags. A measured test page gained +0.5 kB and made 0 requests to other companies' servers. While you build, a checker in the free plugin warns about absent alternative text and poor colour contrast.
The free plugin comes with 44 blocks and 20 website kits. Pro brings 68 further blocks and 8 further kits, a form builder, popups, A/B tests, a theme builder, a design system, a WooCommerce store builder and imports from Elementor, Divi, Beaver Builder, WPBakery and Figma. Its MCP server, with 150 tools, lets Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor and other AI agents build pages.
