DeckDesh is a free WordPress plugin that lets you share investor pitch decks as private PDF links directly from your own domain. Each deck opens in a viewer styled with your website's header, navigation, and footer, keeping investors on your site instead of sending them to a third-party service.
The plugin generates unguessable private links with a random ID and 128-bit token that you control—you can set expiry dates or revoke access instantly. DeckDesh tracks qualifying document views after three seconds of real engagement, filtering bots and email scanners, so you know when investors have opened your deck.
Everything runs on your own WordPress hosting with no separate account or service fee. You install it once, set a password for the management page, upload your PDF, and share the private link via email. The plugin stores files in a protected private directory on your server and serves them only through itself.

DeckDesh is free software with no licence fee. You run it on your own WordPress site and do not need an account with DeckDesh or a third-party file-sharing service.
What do I need to run DeckDesh?
You need WordPress 6.0 or later and PHP 7.4 or later. The deck viewer works with classic and block themes and uses your active theme's header and footer.
Can I expire a link or turn off PDF downloads?
Yes. Set an expiry date for a link, or revoke it by moving the document to Trash when you no longer want it used. Version 1.5.0 has a site-wide Allow download setting to turn PDF downloads on or off.
