Nadir is an LLM router that recommends the lowest-cost model for each task, supporting Anthropic Claude, OpenAI GPT, and Google Gemini models. It runs beside an existing gateway as a decision-only API or through an OpenAI compatible managed proxy, recording a decision receipt that tracks model, reasoning effort, cache, context, policy, and economics.
The default adoption path starts in shadow mode, where you can observe recommendations without enforcement. Each decision can be joined to measured usage and customer outcomes before a policy is enforced. Nadir supports bring-your-own-keys (BYOK) on every plan, with your provider billing you directly for model costs while Nadir adds a flat per-request fee.
Nadir also publishes NadirClaw, the source-available self-hosted core licensed under the PolyForm Noncommercial License, which runs on your own hardware with no account. The hosted Nadir product adds decision-only APIs, managed proxy capabilities, decision receipts, savings accounting, organization observability, and optional post-generation verification through verifier-gated cascades.

Nadir charges a flat $0.002 per request on your own provider keys for Pay as you go and Business plans. The first 50 requests a month are free with no card required. The fee is drawn from a prepaid balance topped up by card in $5 multiples, with $5 covering 2,500 requests. Nadir takes no percentage of model spend, no markup on the model cost, and nothing on savings.
NadirClaw is the source-available self-hosted core of Nadir, licensed under PolyForm Noncommercial and free for noncommercial use. It runs on your own hardware with no account, routing each prompt across four model tiers with your own provider keys and local-only storage. The hosted Nadir product adds decision-only APIs, managed proxy, decision receipts, savings accounting, organization observability, governance, and optional post-generation verification.
For the managed proxy, it requires a two-line change: point your base URL at api.getnadir.com and set model to auto. The decision API requires no change to your request path, as you call it beside the gateway you already run.
Nadir supports Anthropic Claude, OpenAI GPT, and Google Gemini models out of the box. You can configure custom model tiers and routing rules for any OpenAI compatible provider, and bring-your-own-keys (BYOK) is supported on every tier.
Nadir offers a free 30-day audit in your VPC where it recommends in shadow mode, then an agreed sample of up to 500 real requests is re-run with your provider keys and graded with your tests or CI. You compare your current policy, a simple rule, and Nadir recommendations, including retries and lost prompt-cache hits. Nadir charges no audit fee; customer inference, infrastructure, and engineering time are separate.
