Foo Guard is a pre-deployment security scanner that helps developers and security teams review AI agent permissions and configurations. It analyzes agent configs for permissions, tools, credentials, and autonomy risks using deterministic rules and optional AI remediation. The scanner runs in the browser, via CLI, GitHub Actions, or API, with optional Gateway runtime enforcement for MCP tool calls. Team workspaces add shared policies, GitHub checks, and audit streaming for organizations.

Questions and answers

Can I use Foo Guard for free?

Yes. You can paste or upload a JSON or YAML agent configuration in the browser with no account required. Free accounts can save up to 5 scans a month. Pro removes this limit and adds AI remediation, CI and Gateway.

Does Foo Guard execute my agent?

No. Foo Guard is a pre-deployment configuration assessment that inspects declared agent identity, permissions, tools, credentials, autonomy, and auditability without executing the agent.

Which plan includes CLI and GitHub Actions?

Pro supports personal API keys, the CLI, and GitHub Action workflows. Team adds organization service keys, native GitHub App checks, organization policy, and repository scanning.

What is the difference between Pro and Team Gateway?

Pro covers up to 5 of your own MCP connections with monitoring or enforcement and tamper-evident evidence. Team Gateway is shared by a workspace: up to 8 servers, workspace policies with exceptions, model routing with budgets, signed webhook alerts and SIEM streaming.
