Decispher Memory keeps your preferences, environment facts and team norms as durable memories that follow you into every coding session on Claude Code, Cursor
The story so far
Homepage of Decispher Memory
Decispher Memory is a persistent memory system for AI coding agents that solves the problem of stateless sessions. Instead of repeating environment facts and preferences every session, it stores durable memories scoped to individuals, projects, or companies and injects them automatically before each prompt on Claude Code, Cursor, Codex and Grok Build. Every memory injection is recorded and auditable, deletable on demand, and encrypted at rest. The system uses three scopes with clear ownership rules: personal memories stay private, project memories require approval to share, and company policies apply universally.

Decispher Memory stores the durable preferences, environment facts and team norms an engineer would otherwise repeat every session, scoped to a person, a project or a company, and puts the relevant ones in front of Claude Code, Cursor, Codex and Grok Build automatically. It sits beside the Context Engine, which records what the team decided, answering how you work while the Context Engine answers why the system is the way it is.
Why does my AI coding agent forget everything between sessions?
Coding agents are stateless between sessions. Each session starts with an empty context window, so anything you explained yesterday is gone unless it was written into a file the agent reloads. Rules files partly solve this but drift as the codebase moves, and they cost tokens on every call whether or not they are relevant to the task.
How is this different from a .cursorrules or CLAUDE.md file?
A rules file is loaded in full on every session and shared by the whole team, so it drifts, competes for the model's instruction budget, and cannot hold anything personal. Decispher Memory selects the few memories relevant to what you are actually doing, keeps personal and team scopes separate, tracks whether a fact is still current, and writes a receipt every time something is served.
Can a teammate or admin see my personal memories?
No. A private memory never appears on an admin screen, a team view or another person's session. Moving a memory from your own scope to a project or company scope requires a request that somebody approves; there is no switch that widens it silently.
Which AI coding tools does it work with?
Claude Code, Codex and Grok Build receive the full set as you submit each prompt. Cursor receives company policy and any attached memory set at session start, and picks up task-specific memory mid-session through the Decispher tools, because Cursor has no hook that can inject against your prompt text. Any agent that speaks the Model Context Protocol can request a memory by name.
