Cleric is an AI-powered incident prevention and response platform for engineering teams. It automatically verifies every production change against real traffic for up to 14 days, detecting regressions before customers notice them. When issues occur, Cleric investigates alerts end-to-end, traces them to root cause, and proposes fix pull requests with production evidence. The platform maps your stack dependencies, captures knowledge from each resolution, and learns over time to improve future investigations. It handles false positive dismissal, escalates only urgent issues requiring human judgment, and verifies that fixes resolve problems after deployment.

Questions and answers

What is change verification?

Change verification monitors each production change for up to 14 days after deployment. Cleric watches for regressions under real traffic and if one is detected, provides the root cause and a proposed fix while the change context is still fresh. Each change costs 2 credits.

What counts as an Issue?

An Issue is a production problem that Cleric investigates end-to-end, starting from an alert, scheduled monitor, or failed deployment. Multiple related alerts automatically join an open Issue at no extra charge. Each Issue costs 10 credits, and follow-up passes are included.

Does Cleric train on customer data?

No. Cleric does not use customer data to train Cleric or its underlying models. Your data is encrypted everywhere and never used for training.

What happens when I run out of credits?

Monthly credits roll over for one month, up to twice your monthly allocation. Annual plans use one annual pool. When credits run out, new work pauses until the next credit release unless you purchase additional credits or enable overage billing.

Can I use Cleric through MCP clients like Claude Code or Cursor?

Yes. Cleric provides an MCP server that works with Claude Code, Cursor, and other MCP clients, allowing you to search Cleric's knowledge and start investigations from your coding environment.
