The story so far
rightcommit is a self-hosted workflow engine that coordinates AI agents like Claude Code, Codex and Pi. It manages the entire development lifecycle from specification to production-ready code, with verification steps, cost tracking and human approval at key points.
The tool provides a visual workspace where you design workflows on a canvas. A built-in Project Manager assistant turns your goals into workflows. Every step is traceable with file versions, fingerprints and line-by-line differences. Costs are transparent at the level of each step, agent and model.
rightcommit integrates with GitHub, Azure DevOps, ServiceNow, Jira and Confluence. It enforces quality checks, independent reviews, and requires your approval before making commits or pushing branches. You maintain full control: code and keys stay on your servers, credentials never reach the agents.

Which agents and models can I use?
You can use Claude Code, Codex and Pi, with an API key, login or gateway including Anthropic, Bedrock, Vertex, Foundry and OpenRouter. Each person picks their model and default agent.
Will it push, merge or deploy my code?
No. Workflows end with a Git commit on your machine. Draft pull requests are created only after your confirmation, on a branch you have already pushed yourself.
Where do my code and keys live?
On your machine or your servers. Keys are encrypted in the database and never sent to the browser; credentials for connected services never reach the agents.
