Unscramblr™ is a word unscrambler that rearranges letters you enter and checks every combination against an English dictionary of about 150k words. Results are grouped by length with point values for Scrabble and Words With Friends scoring.
Instead of showing you the answer, the AI hints give you clues—the length, the first letter, or a one-line definition—so you can solve the puzzle yourself. The tool supports wildcards (question marks as blank tiles, like in Scrabble or Words With Friends, up to two per search) and works with Scrabble, Words With Friends, Wordscapes, Word Cookies, Text Twist, Jumble, Wordle, crosswords and any word scramble game.
Unscramblr™ works entirely in your browser, runs instantly and privately, and supports ten languages with automatic language detection. It includes a daily seven-letter puzzle, a worksheet maker for teachers, and a widget you can embed on your own site. All features are free, with ads supporting the service.

What does the ? wildcard do?
A question mark is a blank tile that can stand for any letter, like the blanks in Scrabble or Words With Friends. You can use up to two per search.
What are the AI hints?
Instead of showing you the answer, the hint gives you a clue—the length, the first letter, or a one-line definition—so you can solve it yourself. Hints come from the real results, so they never point to an invalid word.
Which games can I use it for?
Scrabble, Words With Friends, Wordscapes, Word Cookies, Text Twist, Jumble, Wordle, crosswords and any word scramble game. You can choose the scoring you need above the results.
Can I use it in other languages?
Yes. You can pick a language from the menu or ask the helper box to switch. Each language has its own dictionary and scoring.
