Stayput is a free, open-source toolkit that lets you convert HEIC photos, resize and compress images, remove metadata, merge and compress PDFs, trim and convert video and audio, all running inside your browser. Every tool processes files locally on your device with no server backend, so files are never uploaded. There are no accounts to create, no watermarks added, and no file size limits beyond your device's memory. After one initial visit, most tools work offline; some tools that download machine learning models need one online run first. The code is published under the MIT license on GitHub.

You can verify this by opening your browser's developer tools Network tab while using any tool. The only requests made are for the site's own pages, scripts, and some decoders or models, plus small anonymous usage-count requests to the stats server. No request carries your actual files. You can also switch to airplane mode after the initial load and the tools will continue working.
Yes, most tools work offline after one initial visit and a short wait. However, tools that download a machine learning model or engine (such as background removal, video to MP3, transcription, PDF unlock, and archive extraction) require one online run first to download these resources.
