LLMnesia is a free Chrome and Edge extension that automatically indexes your conversations from ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, Microsoft Copilot, DeepSeek, Grok, and 8 other AI platforms. The extension runs locally in your browser using semantic search to find answers, prompts, and decisions you've discussed with AI tools. You can import existing history, star conversations you revisit, save individual lines as memories to inject into future prompts, and export your full history. An optional paid Vault service adds end-to-end encrypted backup and sync across your devices, plus a web app beta for mobile access and an Ask Vault feature that answers questions across your indexed history.

Free: local search, history import, auto-capture, MCP connection. Vault: £8/month or £88/year (billed annually with one month free, equivalent to £7.33/month). Plus tax.
Not when using free local search - the index stays in your browser only. Vault is a separate optional paid service. If you choose it, LLMnesia stores an end-to-end encrypted backup that LLMnesia cannot read, so your supported devices can sync.
LLMnesia is designed to be lightweight. Indexing happens incrementally in the background while you work, so it should not noticeably impact browser performance.

Yes. You can export and back up your conversation history in a portable format that you own, and you can clear all indexed data with one click from extension settings.
Yes. The installable Vault web app beta works on phone and desktop, where you can search and read your synced history, and it is included with the Vault subscription.
