Cloud-hosted Linux workstation with Claude Code, Codex, Gemini, Cursor, OpenCode, Pi and 60+ preinstalled tools. Root access, persistent disk, flat monthly
The story so far
Homepage of HolyCode Cloud
HolyCode Cloud is a cloud-hosted Linux workstation designed for developers using AI agents. It comes pre-loaded with six agent CLIs (Claude Code, Codex, Gemini, Cursor, OpenCode, and Pi) plus over 60 developer tools including databases, notebooks, libraries, and media processing software. Users get root access on their own virtual machine with a persistent disk that survives restarts and session disconnects.
The platform supports bringing your own API keys for Claude, OpenAI, or Gemini, so AI costs stay directly between users and their providers. The workstation suspends when idle and resumes in approximately one second with all files and processes intact. Users can run multiple parallel agent sessions and access the machine from any browser-connected device.
Plans range from $19 to $199 per month with corresponding increases in CPU, RAM, and storage. Pricing is flat monthly with no metering. The service offers a 7-day money-back guarantee and supports cancellation anytime through the user's billing page.

First measured 1 Nov 2026
Day 1 since launch. Next receipt: day 30, 1 Dec 2026. These are measurements, not proof of cause: many things move these numbers. Figures we have not measured are left out.
No general free trial is offered. Instead, the first week of any paid plan is refundable: purchase and use the machine for real, then email support within 7 days for a full refund with no form or phone call required. The company occasionally runs limited trial promotions offered by code.
Do I need my own AI subscription?
Yes. Users must bring their own Claude, OpenAI, or Gemini account and sign each CLI into the box the same way they would on a laptop. HolyCode Cloud never sees the key and never marks up the bill.
What happens when I cancel?
Users cancel themselves from their billing page and it takes effect immediately. They keep access until the end of the paid period, and the company emails a warning before files are removed.
What survives a restart?
Files and installed packages always survive. Running sessions survive a suspend and wake, but a hard restart ends them. Backups are not included; the platform keeps short-lived volume snapshots (days, not weeks) with no guarantees, so users should keep copies of important work and contact support immediately if something is lost.
Why not just use Claude Code on the web?
Claude Code on the web is the right tool for small tasks like working on a GitHub repo. However, HolyCode Cloud provides a persistent machine where installs stay installed, offers full root access, supports multiple remotes (GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket), has open network access by default, and lets agents run continuously while the user's laptop is closed.
