A browser extension that restores direct destination URLs instead of Google's /goto redirects in search results across Chrome, Edge, Firefox, and Safari.
Google Goto URL Fix is a browser extension that automatically replaces Google's /goto redirect links with the real destination URLs in search results. When users copy or inspect a search result link, they get the actual page URL instead of Google's passthrough redirect, making links easier to share and search results simpler to analyze.
The extension works across Chrome, Edge, Firefox, and Safari, running entirely in your browser with no telemetry or middleman services. Users can toggle the extension on and off at any time using the toolbar button, restoring Google's default behavior when needed.

Google now routes some search-result links through its /goto redirect. This extension replaces those redirects with real destination URLs automatically, so when you copy or inspect a link, you get the actual page URL instead of Google's passthrough.
No. The extension runs entirely in your browser, accesses only the current Google Search page, and sends only Google's own /goto URLs back to Google to resolve them. There is no telemetry or middleman service.
The extension works on Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Firefox, and Safari. Chrome installs from the Chrome Web Store with automatic updates. Edge, Firefox, and Safari use direct release downloads that are signed and notarized for persistent installation.
Yes. You can click the extension's toolbar button anytime to toggle it on or off. When off, Google's default behavior is restored and no badge appears.
