FreePDFtxt is a free, privacy-first toolkit for working with PDFs, images and text directly in your browser. The platform offers over 50 tools to compress, merge, split, rotate, OCR, translate, convert between file formats (PDF, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, JPG, PNG, WebP), protect, unlock, sign and redact documents. Image tools include converters and optimization features, while text tools provide word counting, case conversion, line cleanup and find-and-replace functions.
All files are processed securely and deleted automatically after 20 minutes, never sold or shared with third parties, and never used to train AI models. Most text tools run entirely in the browser so data never leaves your device. The service requires no account signup, adds no watermarks, and keeps no copies of files after processing. Can I cancel any time?
Yes. Monthly and yearly subscriptions can be canceled at any time with access remaining active until the end of the current billing period. The 7-Day Pass is a one-time purchase and does not renew automatically.
What's the difference between 7-Day, Monthly and Yearly plans?
The Pro features are identical; the main difference is the access period and billing method. 7-Day is $2.99 for 7 days as a one-time purchase. Monthly is $6.99 and renews monthly until canceled. Yearly is $59.99 and renews annually until canceled, working out to approximately $23.89 (28%) cheaper than twelve monthly payments.
Do my files stay private on a paid plan?
Yes, exactly the same as on the free plan. Files are processed on the server, deleted automatically after 20 minutes, never shared and never used to train any model.
What happens if I hit my daily limit?
Only the metered tools stop; the always-free converters keep working. The metered counter resets at midnight UTC, or you can upgrade for a bigger allowance.
