A browser tool that displays nine solid colors to help you visually inspect your screen for dead pixels, stuck subpixels, and other display defects.

Dead Pixel Test is a browser-based tool for inspecting display screens. It shows nine solid colors in full-screen mode to help you visually identify dead pixels, stuck subpixels, and other panel defects on phones, laptops, and monitors. The tool includes a stuck pixel fixer with a small flashing patch that may help stuck subpixels recover, though it cannot repair dead pixels caused by hardware failure. All controls and screen information are processed locally in your browser with no account, upload, or installation required.

Yes. Tap to cycle or swipe between colors. Some browsers cannot enter true full screen, so the test fills the available viewport. It cannot promise coverage beneath browser bars, notches, or rounded screen edges.
No. Dust, a surface mark, or damage can look similar. Clean the screen safely and check multiple colors. A persistent black dot on bright backgrounds is consistent with a dead pixel.
The stuck pixel fixer may help stuck subpixels, but cannot repair dead pixels or guarantee recovery. Its small flashing area requires acknowledging a flashing-content warning.
The estimate counts animation frames for about one second. Browser scheduling, power saving, display switching, and workload affect it. It is not a certified measurement of the panel's refresh rate.
