Artifactor is a visual editor for AI-generated HTML artifacts packaged as a free Chrome extension. It helps you edit and refine documents that AI has created, removing imperfections and adding your own finishing touches without needing to code or use additional prompts.
The tool lets you click on any text to edit it, move or delete elements, change theme colors, and swap fonts—all without coding. You can present files fullscreen and export them as PDFs with page breaks automatically derived from the document outline. Everything runs locally in your browser with no server, account, or telemetry; your files never leave your machine.
Artifactor works with Claude artifacts out of the box and can open any self-contained HTML file from other AI tools. It also offers a /artifactor skill for Claude that opens artifacts at full strength in the editor with palette panels, font pickers, and clean PDF export.

Yes. You can download the artifact as an HTML file or open it from the artifact page with Artifactor's toolbar button. From then on it's a file on your machine and every edit saves in place without needing the chat.
Open it in Artifactor and export. The page shape and breaks derive from the document itself, so cards stay whole and headings keep their sections.
Any self-contained HTML file opens, regardless of which AI made it. The proactive integrations are Claude-first for now.
The pill badge in the corner marks documents saved with Artifactor as hand-finished, indicating that a person edited, branded and shipped the work. It's free to remove per document in Settings.
