AppFactory is an MCP server that integrates with Claude Code, Codex CLI, Gemini CLI and Cursor to automate iOS app development. It guides developers through a complete 10-stage pipeline: idea research using live App Store data, ASO and keyword research, design creation studying category leaders, SwiftUI app building with tests, backend setup with Supabase, subscription configuration with RevenueCat and StoreKit, multilingual screenshot generation, TestFlight deployment, and post-launch growth tools. Each stage includes automated checks and gates that stop for user approval before anything spends money or goes live. The tool includes the AppFactory Dashboard plugin for Claude Code showing real-time progress, setup blockers, approvals and time estimates. All apps built with AppFactory have shipped without spam rejections.

What do I need to run AppFactory?

A Mac, uv and a coding agent that speaks MCP: Claude Code, Codex CLI, Gemini CLI or Cursor. Idea research needs no accounts. Building and shipping require Xcode and an Apple Developer Program membership.

Does AppFactory submit my app to the App Store?

Only with your approval. It takes the app to TestFlight and prepares the submission. Submitting for review always waits for an approval you give yourself, even when other approvals are turned off, and a first subscription is submitted by you in App Store Connect.

Is my data sent anywhere?

Only to the services you turn on with your own keys. There is no telemetry. The one call AppFactory makes for itself is a weekly license check that sends your license key, your Mac's name and an anonymous hash of its hardware id to Polar.

Does AppFactory work offline?

Yes. The license is checked once a week; without a connection every tool keeps working for 30 days.

What does it cost to run AppFactory?

AppFactory costs nothing after purchase. Apple charges $99 a year for the Developer Program. Supabase, RevenueCat, Firebase and GitHub all have free plans that cover a new app; AI providers bill by use, and only if your app uses AI.
