The story so far
app-mcp is a platform built on the MCP Apps standard that lets you create custom components and workflows for your customers to use inside Claude, ChatGPT and other MCP Apps hosts. You register, add your components written in TypeScript with the @app-mcp/kit, test them, and share your workspace address so customers can use them. The platform handles hosting and component management, with support for custom data connections through your own MCP server when you need it. You can also self-host app-mcp inside your network when data needs to stay local.
