AI Exporter is a browser extension that saves AI chat conversations in multiple formats while preserving formatting. It supports 15+ AI platforms including ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, DeepSeek, Grok, Microsoft Copilot, GitHub Copilot, Google Search AI, Google AI Studio, Perplexity, NotebookLM, and Kimi. Users can export full conversations or select specific messages, with options to save as PDF, Markdown, Word, TXT, JSON, or images. The extension also syncs chats directly to Notion workspaces. Nearly all features run locally in the browser for privacy, while PDF generation is temporarily processed on servers and immediately deleted. The tool preserves code highlighting, LaTeX formulas, tables, and inline images, and can handle very long conversations.

Yes, exporting as Markdown, TXT, JSON, and images is completely free. PDF, Notion, and Word exports include a daily free trial quota for basic use. AI navigation, chat aggregation, and other core features are free as well.

Is my data secure and are there privacy risks?

Your privacy is the top priority. Nearly all AI Exporter features run entirely in your local browser with nothing uploaded to any server. PDF generation is temporarily processed on servers, but all data is immediately deleted after the file is created. The service never stores, analyzes, or shares your conversations.

Can I export only part of a conversation?

Yes. In addition to exporting full conversations, you can select specific messages using checkboxes to save only the parts you need.

How do I sync ChatGPT chats to Notion?

Stay logged into Notion, open a ChatGPT conversation, click AI Exporter, and sync to any database or page. Formatting is handled automatically, including Markdown structure, code blocks, tables, and images.
